Celebrating the King's birthday at the British Embassy, Rome 

At the invitation of the British Embassy and Wales in Europe we were honoured to participate in the celebration of the King's birthday at the British Embassy, Rome. 

It's an absolute privilege to have been invited and to share in the opportunity to take the story of Wales beyond the British Isles.  

The award winning jewellers Mari Thomas and Suzie Horan dazzled and beguiled guests from across Italy and Europe with a selection of jewellery from their beautiful gold and silver collections. 
 

It was an occasion to celebrate the very best of Wales and to connect and reconnect with diplomats, partners and friends, enchanting them with a modern and unexpected story of Wales - told through international language of craft. 
 

These are precious milestones in our mission to celebrate exquisite Welsh craft across the globe and contribute to the telling of a contemporary story of Wales - grounded in our heritage, celebrating the present and moving confidently into the future.
